又到年末，各大分析机构在年末和年初，纷纷发布调研报告。以前，我曾经谈到过 汤姆森科技信息集团发布分析过去10年里全球专利活动与技术创新的《World IP Today》，还介绍过WIPO《2007年专利报告》，今天介绍的是权威的WIPO 发布的最新报告《世界知识产权指标报告（2009）》(World Intellectual Property Indicators 2009)。

这个报告囊括了发明专利、实用新型、商标和工业设计，是从原来的年度专利报告的基础上扩展而来的。人民网知识产权频道给出了国家知识产权局审查业务管理部研究处 侯海薏 翻译的中文版概述：世界知识产权指标报告（2009）概述，方便了我们的阅读。

世界知识产权组织的 工业产权统计页面（WIPO Industrial Property Statistics）还有多份其他分析报告，包括PCT Yearly Review: The International Patent System in 2008、The International Patent System: Monthly Statistics Report等等，均值的下载阅读。

世界医药20强均非常重视中国，每一家20强公司，在中国均有大量的专利布局，基本每个月都有数个专利申请。认真监控和分析他们的最新专利申请，对我国制药企业的药品研发战略非常重要。

上面的这些最新专利申请信息是不全面的。因为这些医药公司，很多都经过合并、兼并、更名等情况，还有，在专利进入中国的过程中，由于翻译问题，医药公司的名称可能会被翻译公司翻译成不同的名称，而不是约定俗成的名称，这样会造成检索的漏检，这点也应引起高度重视。
